Welcome to RAPiD!

RAPiD (Relative Afferent Pupillary Defect Identification) is a simulator we've created to help students and junior clinicians practice identifying an RAPD

This simulator randomises cases to either having an RAPD or not, whilst varying skin and iris colour, allowing users to (endlessly!) practice doing a swinging light test. We're currently assessing its efficacy with an anonymous survey- we'd love you to get involved:

<5 minute survey HERE !
(participant information sheet and further details available on the survey page).

If you'd rather not complete the survey, feel free to try out the simulator below (works best on a computer)!
